i never set out to take photos. in fact i refused the SLR my aunt offered me as i left.  it seemed superfulous.  i suspect now that the small beauties we encounter in life awaken something in us.   the experience itself is not enough.  and it wasn't long before a small camera had found it's ways into my bag.
